Mini MBA: Renewable Energy Markets, Auctions & Project Finance
5-Day Programme — Virtual · London 2026
29 Jun–3 Jul · London 5 Days Virtual / Classroom
About This Course
Course Overview
In the last decade, over US$1.5 trillion flowed globally into the renewable sector and power capacity continues to grow. Yet as policy support evolves, competitiveness is intensifying around renewable power projects and their business models. This five-day demanding course provides a comprehensive understanding of the drivers of competitiveness for renewable power projects.
The course is structured around a week-long group exercise: delegates receive tender documents from a fictitious government on day one and work in teams to pitch for a renewable energy tender — selecting projects, structuring finance from commercial banks, Export Credit Agencies and Multilateral Banks, and raising equity from third-party investors.
The basic structure is delivered in presentation style, enriched by spreadsheets, financial models, articles, online tools and video clips illustrating real-world case studies. Participants also receive access to a shared cloud folder containing in-depth background reports and all course materials in electronic format.
